Chief Executive Officer
Gys is an experienced businessman and entrepreneur. He is passionate about the role of social business software and the Open Innovation paradigm. Gys completed his Executive MBA at the University of Cape Town in 2012 with the thesis topic on “The Delay of Social Business Software Adoption in the Enterprise and its Effects.” Gys is also a member of the Young Presidents Organisation and Endeavor and was recently awarded the Graduate School of Business Alumni Leadership Trophy.
Chief Technology Officer
Gerhard is the technical visionary behind Wyzetalk and is an experienced businessman and entrepreneur. In 2010 his software development company Comprehend IT merged with Magmatec to form Alacrity. At the time of the merge it had an annual turnover in excess of R 10 million and a team of roughly twenty developers. Gerhard’s current focus and passion is in mobile technologies, and the combination of mobile devices and new media software as convergence platforms.
Chief Operating Officer
Before joining Wyzetalk, Leon was Head of Development Services at Alacrity, and was responsible for all bespoke development projects and resource management. Leon started his career at Business Connexion where he led the technical teams working on the Standard Bank and SAA contracts. His expertise includes Technical Support, Software Development, System Analysis, Project Management, Account Management and Software Development Management.
Head of Business Development and Strategy
Prior to joining Wyzetalk, Jasper worked in the USA where he focused on commercialising an artificial intelligence-based solution for the financial services sector. He was also the commercialisation manager for a South African mobile app that won the MTN Business of the Year Award in 2014. Jasper specialises in bringing innovative tech-based solutions to market by focussing on customer relevance and driving commercial success.
Drawing on her experience at Spencer Ogden where Kelsey was responsible for growth & development across the Sub Saharan Africa region, Kelsey oversees the scoping, set-up, implementation, and launch of our client solutions. In addition, she plays an integral role in the creation and implementation of each client’s digital strategy and objectives, guiding each client on the journey, and continually measuring the outcomes and making necessary adjustments to ensure success.
