We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team! Role & responsibilities

Reporting to the Content Strategist, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Create world-class product demos for the sales team by becoming a superuser of the Wyzetalk CMS systems
  • Liaise with the Professional Services team to stay ahead of the latest product functionality, and ensure demos showcase the latest and greatest of our capability
  • Using your writing skills, work with the Marketing Designer to update PowerPoint presentations for sales team
  • Using your writing skills, work with the Marketing Designer to create social media content, and post approved copy and content to relevant social channels
  • Manage and maintain the social media calendar based on an existing content calendar, and update as changes may arise from weekly team meetings
  • Work with Wyzetalk’s digital marketing agency to implement paid social media campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube
  • Manage content updates on .com and .nl websites (e.g. load press releases and blogs, new client logos and team members etc)
  • Work with translations company where necessary to get content translated from English into Dutch
  • Manage PR database of print media clippings, radio sound bites and TV snippets
  • Liaise with Wyzetalk’s PR partners to supply relevant imagery for media releases
  • Maintain quality control of all content across all channels (e.g. image quality)
  • Adhoc tasks such as ordering business cards and T-shirts, coordinating teams for photos etc
  • Work with Office Manager on event planning e.g. Company Braais, Year End Function etc


Key Skills, Competencies and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • An energetic self-starter with an eye for detail
  • A fast learner who can adapt easily to change and who is a team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent command of the English language - verbal and written
  • Writing and editing skills –
    • Ability to sub-edit and write great copy
    • Content writing/management/curation/planning experience
  • Strong computer skills and a good knowledge of the web, multimedia and social media/community engagement
  • Experience in a digital environment
  • Someone who is comfortable working on a CMS platform that is constantly evolving
  • Someone who can take raw content and information and make it work in a mobile context (a magician with content and imagery)
  • Someone who isn’t afraid of a challenge
  • Must have own transport
