Channel Partner Manager.
Purpose of the Job
The purpose of this role, channel partner manager, is to manage and develop relationships with channel partners to drive sales growth and market expansion. This role involves identifying and recruiting potential partners, providing training and support, and collaborating closely with partners to achieve mutual business objectives.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Identify and evaluate potential channel partners, assessing their suitability and alignment with company objectives.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partner recruitment strategy to expand the partner network.
- Provide comprehensive training to partners on product features, benefits, and value propositions.
- Conduct regular product and sales training sessions to educate partners on positioning and selling company offerings effectively.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with channel partners, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Conduct regular partner business reviews to track performance, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with partners to identify and develop sales opportunities, driving pipeline growth.
- Provide sales support to partners, including joint sales calls, customer presentations, and proposal development.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop channel marketing programs and campaigns to drive partner engagement and lead generation.
- Provide partners with marketing resources, such as co-branded collateral, campaigns, and digital assets.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and develop effective channel strategies.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on product enhancements, market demands, and competitive insights.
- Analyze channel performance data, identify trends, and recommend actions to optimize partner performance.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on channel partner performance, pipeline, and revenue contributions.
- Proven experience as a channel partner manager, or in a similar role, preferably within the relevant industry.
- Strong understanding of channel management strategies, partner recruitment, enablement, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong partner relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful channel sales and marketing strategies.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand partner business models and align them with company objectives.
- Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of achieving channel sales targets.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple partner relationships.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools for partner relationship management and performance tracking.
