Digital Designer.

Purpose of the Job

Our company seeks a talented and motivated Digital Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the design team, contributing to developing digital assets that drive engagement and deliver on our client’s strategic objectives. You should love digital work and understand digital platforms and their capabilities.

Job Activities

• Design content for external & internal communication and client domains.
• Translate design requirements into prototypes, wireframes and mock-ups.
• Assist in creating digital and print solutions, including new client domain concepts, activation materials and in-app collateral.
• Design collateral such as presentations, brochures, infographics, explainers, case studies, videos, newsletters, emailers, social channels, photography, etc.
• Ensure app and website graphics are optimized for the web.
• Research and implement the latest design trends and principles.
• Broaden and enhance knowledge by keeping updated with digital innovations and competitors.
• Digital accessibility best practice knowledge and how to design for them.

Teamwork

• Collaborate with internal departments and other project members to deliver quality artwork.
• Ensure brand consistency across all collateral according to brand guidelines for internal and client domains.
• Provide advice and guidance on the aesthetic for campaigns and projects.

Minimum Requirements

• A general understanding of all aspects of design communications.
• 3+ years’ experience in a digital environment within the tech industry.
• Competency in web design
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Creative Suite (i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop, XD)
• Adobe XD and Figma
• Communication skills for working with developers, understanding of project limitations, and the ability to make design compromises based on developer feedback.
• Digital knowledge of what is possible from design to dev implementation.
• Experience with website design – designing new pages or redesigns, and knowledge of WordPress.
