The Employee Engagement Awards which was held in Johannesburg on 18 September 2019, is the first and only dedicated platform to recognising excellence in employee engagement – inspiring action and driving the industry and the employee experience forward by changing the way organisations think about, and engage with their people. The percentage of engaged employees globally has remained stagnant in recent years, but the needle is finally moving in the right direction. Businesses are actively seeking to drive behaviour among their employees and are tailoring their strategies to do exactly that.
